Reliable fuel across a moving site
Choosing a TransCube trailer over a fuel truck
Fuel distributor, Foster Blue Water, had been transitioning to our mobile tanks through customer demand. A client on a 2-year wind power installation needed flexible fuel supplies, without tying up capital in a full-size truck – and avoiding breakdown and repair.
Getting clean energy into dirt equipment, generators and off-road kit was essential to keep their project on track. We suggested our robust TransCube Mobile Refueler. It’s easily maneuverable, even with tight access, and holds an impressive 1,200 gallons. Any pick-up can hook up to it, and there was the opportunity to add more trailers in your fleet to match demand, for an agile delivery system, instead of a single, unwieldy truck.
Project Solution
Keeping costs down, and secure fuel on the move
A transportable fuel trailer is 90% cheaper to buy than a truck, can be towed by almost anything on-site – and doesn’t get stuck in tight spots or over rough terrain. We advised an H50TCG with a 50-foot hose and Fillrite pump – for portability, reliability and security.
Trailered fuel storage doesn’t break down or require specialized drivers when on the jobsite – and can traverse large sites in minutes, providing secure energy to equipment, plants and generators. Mounted on a DOT-compliant trailer, it’s also ideal for road work when fuel needs transporting across highways in total compliance. It’s fast, cost-effective – and ready when you need it.
