A New Home for Western Global in Canada 

We have officially moved our Canadian operations to a new facility, continuing 21 years of calling Winnipeg home. The larger, more modern space will allow us to better serve our customers across North America. 

Here’s what you can expect with our new Winnipeg home. 

Continued strategic distribution

Our new facility remains in Manitoba. This convenient location is part of Centre Port Canada, North America’s largest trimodal inland port and Foreign Trade Zone.  Our customers can expect the same efficient timelines and availability on Western Global products.   

Expanded footprint

In addition to its optimal location, the 26,850-square-foot facility is also 25% bigger than the previous facility, including an additional 32,000 square feet of yard space, making it the largest Western Global location in North America. The new facility allows us to both build and store fuel tanks while providing a dynamic workplace for our team. That means more stock on hand to support your business — and your customers.   

Large Tank Production

Our largest tanks require a lot space to produce!  Increased ceiling height (now 28 feet high!) in our workshop allowed for the installation of a large overhead crane, which will greatly enhance our efficiency for large tank production.  As demand for large capacity tanks grows, we’ll be able to better meet the needs of our customers. 

Centre of Excellence

We always strive to be a better employer for our team and a better partner for our customers. Built for technical and hands-on experience, the new Centre of Excellence training room expands our capabilities to train employees and customers on various Western Global products.  

Our new location deepens our commitment to being the world’s leading fuel storage partner, and we look forward to delivering even better value for our North American customers.
