Location
Texas, US

Efficiency and cost saving
Solution
TransTank Pro + submersible pump kit
Response
Bulk buying and fuel on demand
Driving down the cost of 25,000 gallons a month
Our customer supplies propane and refined products across Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa – plus a sand mine on Texas, consuming 25,000 gallons of fuel a month. Switching to buying by the tanker load would deliver substantial costs savings and give fuel surety on-site – eliminating any risk of downtime. As an evolving business, the mine wanted a solution that would grow with their operation.
We were ready with the answer: a tank proven in bulk supply and power generation, tested to provide continuous operation in the most austere operating environments. These stationary bulk containers increase efficiency in heavy-duty, on-demand applications and can be linked to increase capacity.
Project Solution
Lower cost fuel. On-site, on demand
Calculating immediate demand and future growth, it was clear our TransTank Pro series was designed for the task. These environmentally secure, stationary bulk containers combine effortless connectivity with a small storage footprint. They’re popular as fuel farms, creating temporary or long-term power plants, and can be fitted with complete dispensing and management systems.
The sand mine operator selected a 2” high flow, submersible pump kit, fitted before delivery to site. Taking control of their own storage brought safety gains, too – with fewer small fuel deliveries on-site and a secure tank, protecting their reputation against leaks or spills – and loss through theft.
