Fueling the fire lines
When you’re in the business of battling wildfires in the wilderness, speed and safety are critical. Storing fuel near fire lines poses significant risks: Leak threats, the high cost of bulk fuel, and complex drum management can be a distraction from fast moving fires, posing threat to life and the landscape.
We were asked to find a better, environmentally friendly way for a forest fire management company to store and transport vital backup fuel. We’re used to devising solutions in remote, off grid locations – and our products are designed to stand up in conditions where drums and traditional tanks can’t cope.
Project Solution
Ready on the frontline
Our TransCube units are used on building sites and battlefields. They avoid the traditional task of cleanup and disposal that comes with drums, and are double-walled for an added layer leak protection.
On the forest frontline they took up less space (with a single TransCube having the same capacity as 20-drums) and the trailered version was perfect to keep pace with the fast-moving flames. When the fire moves, so does the fuel – keeping backup at the ready.
