Get to Know Zoe: Q&A

Zoe has been an integral part of Western Global for nearly a decade! Her journey is nothing short of inspiring. Starting in Operations, to Sales, to leadership, she has worked her way through a variety of roles, gaining invaluable experience and building strong relationships. Now, as the newly promoted Head of UK Sales, Zoe is excited to lead the team into the next chapter of growth.

With the festive season just around the corner, we caught up with Zoe to talk about her career progression, what she loves most about her new role, and a few fun holiday traditions that make this time of year special.

Tell us about your journey at Western Global.

Zoe: It’s been an incredible 9 years! I started in Operations, but quickly found my passion in Sales. I started my sales journey managing the Account Managers in South Africa and Dubai. I then moved into a Business Development Manager role for the South West, and later expanded to cover the entire South. For the last two years, I have been the Sales Manager, and I am thrilled to step into my new role as Head of UK Sales in 2026.

It’s been a journey of growth, learning, and amazing opportunities!

What advice would you give to someone looking to grow within Western Global?

Zoe: Always put yourself forward for any opportunity that comes your way. It’s the classic ‘don’t ask, don’t get’. Western Global is committed to supporting growth for anyone who seeks it.

What excites you most about your new role as Head of UK Sales?

Zoe: Moving from a regional focus to a global leadership role means influencing the bigger picture, setting direction, aligning teams, and ensuring Western Global’s sales engine is future-ready. Working closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver integrated solutions excites me. It’s about shaping customer experience and adding long-term value.

Festive Fun

Now for some more light-hearted questions to get into the festive spirit…

What’s your favourite part of the Christmas season?

Zoe: The general buzz everywhere you go and everyone’s attitude of ‘go on it’s Christmas. Enjoy it, it’s Christmas’.

Any traditions you look forward to, any hobbies or family traditions?

Zoe: Always get together with all the family on Christmas day and (a new one!) in the past 3 years we have started a tradition of going to the darts in London between Christmas and New Year.

If you could only pick one festive treat, what would it be?

Zoe: Does all cheeses count as a festive treat?! Because always cheese!

What’s your go-to Christmas song and movie?

Zoe: The original Grinch is definitely up there! Miracle on 34th Street is amazing. And probably Britney Spears ‘My only wish!’

Do you have a memorable Christmas story from your time at Western Global?

Zoe: WG always do Christmas parties well! So they are always good fun!
