Get to Know Linda: Q&A

How would you describe your job in one sentence?

Linda: A varied, enjoyable job, with lots of customer contact and great support from the team. 

How long have you been part of the Western Global team?

Linda: A little over two years now. Before joining, I spent 19 years working in Estate Agency, so stepping into this role was a refreshing and exciting new challenge. 

Linda’s warmth and expertise have made her an outstanding addition to the team, and customers love the wealth of experience she brings to every interaction. 

What inspired you to join Western Global, and what keeps you motivated?

Linda: I actually started as a temp, but I was really impressed with the company ethos and the people at Western, so I was delighted to become permanent. 

What makes your role exciting?

Linda: Every day is an opportunity to grow. Whether it’s gaining a deeper understanding of our products or solving customer challenges, I love learning something new. 

What’s your favourite product and why?

Linda: The TransCube Global range of tanks is versatile and of incredible quality. 

A peek into Linda’s life outside of work…

Holidays? Tell us about your upcoming travels…

Linda: I am definitely a spring/summer person, so this autumn, I am looking forward to soaking up the sun and recharging on a cruise and a trip to the Dominican Republic. 

How do you unwind when you’re not at work?

Linda: I enjoy socialising with friends and family, going to the gym, planning trips away, and taking care of my two cats. 

Do you have a favourite quote, motto, or words that inspire you?

Linda: “Life is what’s happening whilst you’re busy making other plans.” / “Life can change in an instant – live it now!” 

Wise words to live by! Linda’s motto is a beautiful reminder to embrace the present and make the most of every moment. 

What are you currently reading/ listening to/ watching?

Linda: At the moment, I am listening to Teddy Swims – I love his voice. My favourite programmes include A Place in the Sun, Bake Off, and Race Across the World.
