Supporting Sunbelt's Carbon Free G7 Summit

Renewable Fuel

All power generators ran on Hydro-treated Vegetable Oil (HVO), reducing carbon output by 93%, which is 63,700kg of carbon when compared to traditional fuels.

Sunbelt Rentals

The 47th G7 Summit was held in June 2021, in St Ives, Cornwall. Sunbelt Rentals offered a full carbon-neutral temporary infrastructure solution to support this prestigious event. This included using Hydro-treated Vegetable Oil (HVO) fuel in Western Global fuel tanks, alongside eco-cabins, low emission plant and e-bikes across two sites. All power generators ran on HVO, reducing carbon output by 93%, which is 63,700kg of carbon when compared to traditional fuels. Discover more about Sunbelts G7 Summit solution here.

Sunbelt Rentals are a long-standing partner of Western Global’s, so when the goal of using HVO fuel was presented, their fleet did not have to change, as all of our tanks are designed to hold HVO and other alternative fuels. Learn more about HVO here.
