Fuel on the farm
Aqua Cooling was asked to restart a dormant anaerobic digester by a farming customer in rural eastern England. In full cycle it converts green and livestock waste into methane, providing hot water and electricity to their cattle operation, with excess power sold back to the grid.
To get the old unit up and running, they’d need to circulate hot water around the system for several weeks. With no nearby services or fuel supply, they needed a secure, transportable tank to hold red diesel to power a 300kW temporary boiler. We were ready with the perfect short-term solution.
Project Solution
Fast to fit and fuel
Our compact TransCube tank is perfect for remote locations – chosen in agriculture for its reliability and security against theft and leaks. Designed to safely transport and dispense fuel precisely where it’s needed – it was simple to place near the digester using four-way forklift pockets.
The 10TCG has a 949-litre capacity, big enough to keep the hot water flow consistent to kick-start the old system. With the job complete, the bunded tank was removed in minutes, and back into stock for its next task. If you need backup or auxiliary energy, for up to 3 pieces of equipment, TransCube is ready, even on hard-to-access sites.
