The project was managed from the UK headquarters while coordinating with an offshore site near New York City. The ambient conditions in the region can reach as low as -30°C. These extreme cold conditions present the risk of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) freezing, which could disrupt operations. Developing a storage solution that kept systems running smoothly, no matter the temperature outside, was essential.

We provided 35x 500-litre DEFCube Global tanks with advanced heat jackets, heated hoses, and control box systems. These enhancements enabled seamless compatibility with the on-demand DEF functionality of JCB generators.
Utilising heat Jackets
Our custom-designed heat jackets prevent DEF from freezing, ensuring that DEF stays in liquid form even in sub-zero conditions. With the capability to operate effectively in temperatures as low as -30°C, we prioritised operational efficiency no matter the weather.
Customisation & Engineering Excellence
The product was set up in our US facility in Troy, and meticulously tailored to align with UK specifications. Every aspect—from the heat jacket and hose to the controls—has been finely tuned to meet rigorous operational standards.
