Our cube-shaped tanks are the highest quality on the market, so we can’t blame the competition for trying to copy them. But with decades of product development, enhancement and experience under our belt, that’s easier said than done – and not all tanks are created equal. Here’s why …
Through years of expertise refuelling every possible industry, our TransCube tanks are rigorously tested and proven to deliver on hard-working sites, and in some of the most remote, harshest environments imaginable. They lead the market, and customers and maintenance teams tell us they love them. Like all good ideas, they are relatively simple on the outside – and seemingly easy to emulate. But the lifetime value of ownership and day-to-day readiness tell a different story.
Some copycat tanks we see come and go are available in local territories – with approximate approvals to match. If you’re an international operator or keep a keen eye on resale values, you’ll know how important global approvals are. Contracting authorities insist on them. TransCube is transferable from project to project ensuring total compliance.
As our customer Generator Power says, “we just buy the best kit available, this means Western Global”. They’re not alone – the risks from cheaper tanks include lower security against theft, leaks and spills – and loss of supply through poor quality, inaccurate gauges that don’t provide true levels.
Over the years we’ve fine-tuned details like four-way lift pockets and rejigged the removable inner tank (which many simple ‘box tanks’ don’t have). Some can’t be stacked or transported filled with fuel – so we’re constantly innovating. This means a more robust, usable tank when you need it – and a lower total cost of ownership through repairs and residual value. We never rest on our laurels, but the adage ‘you get what you pay for’ is true in the world of secure fuel storage.
