About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Sales Administrator. As a member of the internal Customer Experience Team you will support the delivery of a first class customer experience throughout the customers journey with Western Global. The Sales administrator will handle all administrative tasks within the sales and customer support function, from telephone inquiries to registering new customers, inputting information on our computer system and accessing our client database to place new calls, conducting research and pro-active duties and all other admin duties as required.

What will you be doing as our Sales Administrator?

  • Proactively providing executive assistance to senior management and administrative assistance to the sales support group, by independently handling all assigned administrative duties and taking direction from and balancing the needs of multiple staff members.
  • Greeting and welcoming visitors to the office and ensuring they sign in the visitor’s book.
  • Be responsible for receiving and transferring all inbound call traffic for the US
  • Acting as a barrier for unwanted ‘cold’ calls
  • Ensuring all voicemail messages to main office number are taken and directed to the appropriate staff members
  • Reviewing and updating on a regular basis the staff contact and telephone extension lists
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Maintaining and improving our levels of customer support
  • Treating all customers fairly and with a high standard of service
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Support and cover administration tasks for other departments when required
  • Provide quotations to customers as per guidelines set by management
  • Work with marketing to ensure gear is delivered to customers for special offers, deals, etc.
  • Providing day to day contact with customers to ensure orders are managed, products and services are delivered, and quality is ensured.
  • Customer Service – ensure that customer complaints are action in a swift and timely manner
  • Monitoring and ensuring that the front office area is kept tidy and projects a professional image/reporting any problems as they occur.
  • Answers phone calls and transfers them as necessary
  • In the event of a fire and/or any other emergency, directing staff to leave the building.
  • Checking and signing for deliveries before informing the relevant staff of goods received.
  • Managing the incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Ordering office, kitchen and workshop supplies as required.
  • Scanning, filing and other administrative tasks that may help the teams.
  • Supporting with company events and communications

 

What we are looking for in our ideal Sales Administrator:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Proven successful experience in a similar role
  • Good standard of IT capability e.g. Microsoft Outlook Excel, & Word
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High levels of both verbal and written communication
  • High-level of self-motivation, independence, and self-reliance
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize
  • Multi-task to meet deliverables with little supervision
  • Logical thinking
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Previous use of a CRM tool ideally NetSuite
